뉴욕 유일한 고려인교회 방문 및 후원 | Visited and Donated to the Only Korean-Russian Church in NY

3월 22일 (일), KMAC 한민족비전센터는 뉴욕지역 유일한 고려인교회 - 열방침례교회 All Nations Baptist Church에 방문하였습니다. 100명좌우의 고려인교인을 거느린 이 교회는 고려인 목사님 레오니드 킴의 통솔하에서 하나님을 충실히 섬기는 아담하지만 깊이가 있는 교회입니다.

마음을 담은 후원금과 러시아어로 제작된 프로그램 광고전단지를 들고 예배를 방문한 KMAC 회장님을 킴목사님을 비롯한 모든 성도들이 열렬히 반겨주었습니다. KMAC는 프로그램 설명회를 진행하고 전단지를 배포하여 고려인포함 교회의 성도들이 저희의 무료서비스사용에 기본적인 지식을 마련해주었습니다.

또한 브루클린지역 유일한 고려인 레스토랑인 Cafe Lily의 관계자분도 레스토랑에 배치할 전단지를 70장 정도 가져가시는 등, 든든한 지원을 아끼지 않았습니다.

한민족의 정을 나누는 따뜻한 자리를 마련해주신 킴목사님과 성도들에게 더없이 고마운 마음을 표시하는 동시에 비록 인구수는 적지만 스탈린강제이주 등 온갖 고난을 겪으면서도 정체성을 잃지 않은 고려인동포들의 미래에 하나님의 성령이 충만되길 간절히 소망해봅니다.

On Sunday, March 22, KMAC Korean Minjok Aspiration Center visited All Nations Baptist Church, the only Koryo-in (Korean diaspora from the former Soviet Union) church in the New York area. With a congregation of around 100 Koryo-in members, this church—led by Pastor Leonid Kim—is a humble yet spiritually profound community devoted to faithfully serving God.

KMAC’s president attended the service carrying a heartfelt donation and Russian-language program brochures. Pastor Kim and all members of the congregation warmly welcomed the visit. During the service, KMAC provided a program presentation and distributed brochures, helping church members gain a basic understanding of the free services that KMAC has offered.

Additionally, a representative from Cafe Lily, the only Koryo-in restaurant in the Brooklyn area, showed generous support by taking approximately 70 brochures to display at the restaurant.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Pastor Kim and all the members of the church for creating such a warm and meaningful gathering that embodies the spirit of Korean unity. Although the Koryo-in population is small, they have endured numerous hardships—such as the forced deportation under Stalin—yet have preserved their identity. We sincerely pray that the Holy Spirit of God will be abundantly present in the future of the Koryo-in community.
